This bench was the most difficult piece of rustic furniture that I have built to date and perhaps that is why I felt a little sad when I brought it to the Gallery for sale. Builders really do fall in love with their work and the more effort that is put into a piece of furniture the harder it is to part with it. Of course if I kept everything that I built and fell in love with, I would need a much larger home and more importantly, a very understanding wife! This bench will add a special touch to a porch or log home.
