I think that this chair is a good example of rustic furniture. With its simple design and box like shape, with naturally curved wood pieces, it is easy to visualize sitting in a remote log cabin by a cozy fire and reading a favorite book. While not especially challenging to build, the simplicity of its style is part of the pleasure of rustic furniture. |
