This is the first bench or settee as some like to call it that I built. As soon as I cut the horizontal pieces for the back rest I knew where I wanted to use them. They are a perfect example of "where the wood will lead me".

The big challenge in building the bench was fitting the ten vertical back rests to the horizontal supports and then fitting the whole assembly to the back legs. It was very solid and complemented a chair and table that sold as a set.
