After harvesting fir and cedar off my land, the logs are peeled, leaving a thin layer of inner bark, then allowed to dry. Often a single cutting of wood will be the inspiration for the style of a bench or chair.

It is a journey that is truly a product of both the wood and the imagination of the builder. Each piece of wood becomes a compliment to the others around it and to the finished design.

Click For a Better View & Info A coat of oil is applied, allowed to dry, sanded and a coat of urethane added to provide more protection. As your rustic furniture ages and the inevitable nicks, dents, and scratches accumulate, an heirloom emerges as a reminder of our unique rustic American heritage.
